Six years ago, one month after launching my Paint-Party business: I'd like to share something that happened, out of the *many* magical things that happen, in my art class. On the left is my original painting, "ShadowTree" ... I painted it a year ago, and have used it numerous times, to instruct many people how to paint it. Many people show up and work hard to *exactly* duplicate the original on display, despite how I assure them that art is an emotional medium, and their own subconscious mind, I dare to say their soul, comes out of them, and onto the canvas (I assure them that my OWN painting, done in front of them, won't look exactly like my own original)... in fact, THAT is what I'm here to do with them. NOT to teach them to merely paint better (or discover that they can paint at all), though that's part of it - so I do offer technical instruction. However, my own deepest intention is to inspire any/everyone who takes a class with me to express and listen to

I am thrilled with how the show is going so far!  Several of my art-items has been fallen-in-love-with, and thus sold. Catch the Moon Virtual/Zoom Paint-Party for ANYone, ANYwhere! Join me in the FUN of painting "Catch the Moon" - NO experience required - ALL ages welcome - FUN guaranteed! I'll walk you through the entire process, start to finish, and I'll help you find your own inner artist! Here's what you need to acquire, in order to participate: a canvas (I use a 20x16" canvas) - in a pinch you can use cardboard, plywood, heavy-duty paper; paint brushes (I use these, in the image, but have at least a large, a medium and a detail brush); acrylic paint (white, black, purple and blue - or other colors of your choice); a cup of water; an extra cup to trace the moon; a paper towel for blotting, a paper/styrofoam plate for a palette; a plastic tablecloth or garbage bag to protect your surface; your laptop or phone for a Zoom connection.
